"Stories may well be lies, but they are good lies that say true things, and which can sometimes pay the rent." - Neil Gaiman

Clifton Heights is a small Adirondack town nestled between Old Forge and Whitelake. It's an odd little place, touched by the supernatural. It's not evil, but it's not safe either - the shadows grow long at night, and bad things do happen there. One thing is for certain: it's never boring.

Water demons are said to haunt Black Creek Bridge. There's an old house on the edge of town. Some boys have gone there and survived. Others haven't been so lucky. Also, you shouldn't get sick here in Clifton Heights. The town doctor? Slightly evil, I'm afraid.

Redemption is coming, however, which is good...because so is evil. Of course, redemption comes at the hands of an alcoholic, burned out author. But hey...beggars can't be choosers, right?

Sinners. Saints. Those lost somewhere in between. Clifton Heights has them all. Enjoy your stay.
