I'm just a guy who loves to write, and gets a kick out of creating my own little worlds to run around and play in. In my opinion, it would be the greatest job in the world to create stories for a living, and I continue daily to develop my craft, hopefully to produce things folks will enjoy reading.I have no idea what my ultimate fate as a writer will be, but I intend on enjoying myself along the way, content to scribble away and mumble to myself in at three AM in the morning at our kitchen table.

I write book reviews for The Press & Sun Bulletin - which I get a total kick out of, because it melds my two favorite pass-times: reading and writing. I still can't believe those nice folks decided to pay me to do that! (Shhh! Don't tell them!)

Favorite place in the whole wide world? The Adirondacks; White Lake, Old Forge. Friend of the family owns a private cabin up there, and we vacation there once a year. I do nothing but spend the whole week tramping through the woods, reading, writing, and buying silly, useless knick knacks.

Favorite authors? Easy: Stephen King, Joe Hill, Dean Koontz, Peter Straub, T.L. Hines, Robert Liparulo, and new favorite, Jim Butcher.

I'm currently attending Binghamton University, chasing after my MA in Creative Writing. Maybe I'll learn how not to be a hack, but it's not likely.

Do I have a sense of humor? Sure do, but it's odd. For example, I find cartoons about birds called Tweeters absolutely hilarious, especially those written by good friend and former college basketball teammate, (the second leg of our tri-captain trio - the third is MIA somewhere in corporate America), artist and English teacher, < a href="http://www.andyslocum.com/">Andy Slocum. If that's not funny enough for ya, check out Craig VS. Wild on YouTube. I'm pretty sure I went to high school with Craig, honestly.

Favorite TV shows: Smallville, Supernatural,Heroes, Dr. Who, and sometimes Battlestar Galactica - when it's not all smutty, which it's sometimes wont to be.

Favorite things to do besides be with my family, writing, reading, basketball, and teach? (Really, what else is there?) Camping, gardening, and whatever seems irrational, risky, or even a little dumb.
